24 new stage 1 graduates!

This past school year, 24 YouthBuild Boston earned high school diplomas. This includes 13 students that completed certifications from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). This acts as proof of their construction skill set for future employers.

  • ■15 students have demonstrated an increased score on the Test of Adult Basic Education since starting the program.

  • ■9 students decided to continue into the pre-apprenticeship program. These students were able to build upon the foundations created in the Building Trades Exploration.

  • ■6 students have already earned their pre-apprentice certification by completing the program.

We held a graduation ceremony for the Building Trades Exploration students in May to recognize their accomplishments.
