YBB Stage 1 - Building trades exploration
In as little as three months, you can complete your high school credentials. Stage 1 features academic instruction aimed at earning a diploma, alongside exploration of building trades and life skills development. Participants gain foundational carpentry skills and industry-recognized certifications. Workshops cover job search skills, financial literacy, substance use awareness, personal wellness, nutrition, and healthy cooking. After Stage 1, students can move to Stage 2 or access transitional services for further educational or training opportunities.
What is expected?
Participants must attend all classes, join training sessions, and finish certification tasks. They should be prepared to learn, build new skills, and focus on personal growth.
What do you gain?
Graduates earn a high school diploma, industry certifications, carpentry skills, and essential life skills for further training or employment. Participants receive a stipend to support their goals and future.
